Showing proof of insurance after citation (in Texas)?

The law specifically states that you MUST carry proof of insurance AT ALL TIMES when driving, and when you were cited you could not provide that proof. When you go to court take $300 with you. You are totally guilty, and I doubt the court will show you any mercy.
