Liability insurance Question!?

Hi I have a question. I have liability insurance question. My car is insured but not me. So if I get into an accident, will my insurance cover the damage to the other car? Or what? My insurance says i have Uninsured/Underinsured coverage of up to 300,000 per person per accident and 500,000 property per accident.
