I was in an accident in California and i did not have insurance on the car i do have insurance on my motorcyle?

ok so it was in a car, and the car was in my moms name. its her car i was only driving it temporary, but there was no insurance on the car itself, through her or i.i own a harley and i have full coverage on the bike but nothing on the car, so does that make me an uninsured driver? The DMV sent me a form to fill out to report the accident and is asking for proof of insurance. i am worried my license will get suspended for a year!! will the motorcycle insuracen cover me? or be considered as insured? i am not worried about the damages, only about losing my license. Please help.
