Dental Assistance in Maryland?

My boyfriend is in severe pain. He has an infection in his tooth and it has caused him a lot of pain and bleeding. He doesn't have insurance. He has gone to Three Lower Counties and has called quite a few dental places and orthodontists, none of which will accept him due to being uninsured. The hospital won't do anything but give him an antibiotic and some pain medications. Other than Social Services, is there any other type of assistance he can get on the eastern shore of Maryland? He needs to get help as soon as he possibly can, because this pain is affecting his job and everyday life. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
